“A manifestation of the Spirit is given to each person for the common good:”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:7‬

Spiritual gifts are not our natural talents; they are the grace of God pouring out on us. Spiritual gifts are the manifestation of the Holy Spirit within us. Do we see evidence of the Spirit inside of us?

The special gifts God has given us have a purpose– to glorify Him. These gifts are from God, for God. Through His Spirit inside us, we walk in the grace given to us. Each one of us that has His Spirit within us, has the manifestation of it pouring out of us. It is our decision to use them for God’s glory. Are we using our spiritual and common gifts to glorify and worship our King?

We are Christ’s, and the Spirit inside of us in evidence of it. We are defined by it. The Holy Spirit inside us marks as His children. Have we given ourselves to God? Are we letting the Spirit pour out of us through spiritual gifts?
